Because commissions change these values between notifications and most tool sites publish once and never revisit. The SSC signature band is the clearest example — you will find 10 KB to 20 KB and 1 KB to 12 KB both stated confidently online. Only the current notification for your specific examination settles it.

File size is usually not the cause once the upload itself succeeds. The frequent causes are background colour, face coverage below the stated percentage, a signature written in capital letters, a photograph missing a required name or date overlay, or the photo and signature files being uploaded into each other's fields.
