How this tool behaves
What signature specification does SSC state?
SSC application screens have commonly stated 140 x 60 pixels at 10 KB to 20 KB in JPG, and SSC OTR registration has separately asked for a 6 x 2 cm signature. These values have changed between cycles and third-party tables frequently contradict each other, so open the current notification PDF before you rely on any figure, including ours.
Does SSC require black or blue ink?
SSC instructions have asked for a signature in black or dark blue ink on white paper. Where the instruction names a single colour, follow it exactly — this is one of the checks that causes rejection at the document-verification stage rather than at upload.
My signature was rejected even though the size was right
Size is rarely the cause once the upload succeeds. The usual reasons are signing in capital letters, a signature that does not match your identity document, a visible background or shadow, or a cropped stroke touching the frame edge.
What happens if I upload the photo in the signature field?
The application is normally rejected at scrutiny and the fee is not refunded. Check the preview thumbnail on the portal before you pay, because it is the last point where the mistake is free to fix.
Does the file leave my device?
No. The image is decoded and re-encoded by your browser. ImgNimble does not receive the source file on this page, and refreshing clears both the input and the generated result.
Will this guarantee my SSC application is accepted?
